THE ROLE

We are currently searching for an experienced and energetic Dock & Cellar Coordinator who would thrive in a fast-paced environment working on a full-time basis at our superb venue in Freshwater, NSW!

As a Dock & Cellar Coordinator, you will be responsible in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the venue's loading dock and the maintenance of the Clubs beverage, cellar and back of hours operations.

This is a hands-on role where you will be in the thick of things, accepting deliveries, completing stocktakes, counting kegs and managing our busy Dock & Cellar area.

More specifically, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise and operate the beverage supply process for the venue, including ordering, receiving, stocking and stocktaking
  • Back up support for the wider Maintenance team
  • Ensuring accurate records are maintained i.e. wastage recording, stock movements, stock on hand, transfers, par levels, WH&S issues & system failure
  • Maintaining all equipment associated with the cellar area, including taps, snap locks, check valves, beer manifolds, glycol, spirit dispensers and fridges
  • Ensure that the venue loading dock and cellar area is maintained in a safe and secure environment for all staff and suppliers
  • initiate and support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Liaise with other departments, delivery drivers and contractors/technicians
  • Direct and coordinate goods in and out of the venue loading dock area
  • Identify and report defects associated with the dock and waste plant and equipment
  • Maintain dock management procedures

ABOUT YOU

To be considered for this role, you would ideally have:

  • Previous experience in a similar supervision of a dock / cellar environment within the hospitality industry
  • Hold a current NSW RSA & RCG certificate, or willing to obtain
  • Hold a current Forklift License, or willing to obtain
  • Hold a current Drivers License
  • Availability to work a flexible roster, including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
  • Ability to complete high volumes of manual handling
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
