Intro Recruitment has a great opportunity for a Document Controller to work with one of Australia's most exciting electrical and renewable power businesses. This organisation's leadership team comprises of people who have worked with top tier businesses on Australia’s largest and most intricate projects.
Your key area of responsibilities will include:
- Develop, implement and maintain an organised and up-to-date document control system underpinned by procedures and controls.
- Receive, log, and distribute incoming project documents.
- Ensure proper filing, storage, and retrieval of project documents.
- Implement and enforce document control procedures to maintain the highest quality standards.
- Perform regular audits to verify document accuracy and completeness.
- Facilitate effective communication between project teams, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and organise project-related documents.
- Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes.
- Address any document-related queries or issues promptly.
- Generate regular reports on document control activities and metrics.
- Highlight any deviations from established processes and recommend corrective actions.
- Checking quality of documents and typing / formatting of project documents.
- Transmit ad hoc data and information to clients, contractors and/or sub-contractors as requested by the Project teams
To be considered for this role you must have:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in document or records management.
- Tertiary qualification in computer science, business administration or similar field.
- Competent with MS Word and MS Excel.
- Ability to plan, supervise and record document flow to all stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills.
- A meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
