We are currently seeking an experienced and talented Dog Groomer to join our team. As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to our furry clients, ensuring their comfort, health, and happiness.
Part-time and Full-time positions available
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of dog grooming, including bathing, brushing, clipping, and styling, according to breed standards and client preferences.
- Trim nails, clean ears, and provide other basic grooming services.
- Assess and maintain the health and condition of dogs' coats, skin, and overall well-being.
- Interact with clients to understand their grooming requirements and provide expert advice on grooming styles.
- Maintain a clean and safe grooming area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized and maintained.
- Assist with managing grooming appointments, maintain accurate records, and communicate effectively with clients.
- Stay updated on the latest grooming techniques and trends in the industry.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Dog Groomer, with a strong portfolio of grooming work.
- Confident in grooming typical breeds and styles, including breed-specific cuts and styles.
- Excellent knowledge of dog breeds, their temperaments, and grooming requirements.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently, with exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality grooming services.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
- Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for dogs.
- Certification from a recognized grooming school or equivalent experience is preferred.
