Position Overview:

As a Domestic Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest areas, including accommodation and communal spaces. Your responsibilities will involve positive customer interactions, proactive assessment of presentation requirements, and the implementation of recommendations to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and perform laundry and linen duties
• Oversee general cleaning tasks using specialized equipment and chemicals.
• Ensure the servicing of accommodation areas and maintain cleanliness standards.
• Interact with customers in a positive and proactive manner.
• Work with the Hotel Manager to coordinate staffing levels

Requirements:

• Proven working experience in a similar role.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
• Organizational efficiency and commitment to cleanliness.
• Relevant training certificate.
• Basic math skills.
• Attentiveness and patience for customers.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Active listening and effective communication skills.
• Team spirit and flexibility to work in shifts.
• Suitable literacy and numeracy levels for the position requirements.
• Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, flexibility is essential. Weekends and public holiday work will be required at times to ensure exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency.
