About the organisation
Good Neighbours is an international development NGO founded in 1991 for the purpose of
reducing poverty in the most disadvantaged communities. Good Neighbours implements
projects to protect child rights, strengthen global partnerships, and advocate for the rights of
the most vulnerable across the globe.
Good Neighbours Australia office launched in 2018 under the auspices of the Good
Neighbours’ partnership. Good Neighbours Australia currently implements domestic and
overseas programs. We are registered with ACNC (Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits
Commission) and have Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) Status.
About the role
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
An integral officer of Good Neighbours Australia, adopting a professional, informed
and principles-based approach, you will be responsible for:
- Efficiently and accurately manage the donation administration process – processing
of donations, accurate and timely distribution of receipts, distributing of donor
correspondence, and other donor-bonding communications - Maintain and monitor the monthly Regular Giving program’s Declines, Upgrade, and Conversions
- Consult with the Marketing Manager to ensure that campaigns are supported by back-end processing, and assist with the preparation of relevant donor correspondence for distribution with campaign receipts
- Maintain the currency, accuracy, and data integrity of the donor CRM database (Kindeful)
- Liaise with external fundraising suppliers regarding accurate and timely campaign data results and import files
- Ensure accurate data entry as well as receipt processing and mailing for all
fundraising activities - Confirm that banking and reports are accurate, on time, and that reconciliation of
funds is as efficient as possible - Secretarial duties such as summarising and reporting weekly meetings
- Manage the day-to-day administrative operations and deliver professional administrative support to the Administration manager
- Support HR functions including but not limited to employee onboarding & off-boarding arrangement of staff and volunteers etc.
- Assist the Administration Manager in organising and supervising the day to day
activities - Also, assist the team in domestic and international projects
- Perform any ad hoc projects and assignments as requested by the Director
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years’ experience in a similar role at a similar level preferred but not essential
QuickBooks and Donor Management system experience
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Willingness to be proactive and help others, contribute to the continuous

Previous admin related experience in not-for-profit and/or non-government (NGO)
organisations (preferred)
