- Safety first with involvement in daily pre-start equipment checks, general maintenance, completion of safety documentation and compliance with safe work practices
- Operate ancillary equipment including onsite trucks
- Assist to set up/dismantle/move drill rigs and equipment
- Assisting with loading and unloading heavy vehicles
- Follow Safe Work Instructions
- Add/remove drill rods/augers and other downhole tools
- Clean drill rigs, vehicles, equipment, and tooling
- Assist in routine maintenance on drill rigs, equipment, vehicles and tools
- Assist with mixing drilling fluids and cement as required
- Maintaining adequate water supply for drilling operations
- Assist in maintaining the drill site, drill rig, vehicles, ancillary equipment and work area
A few things we’re looking for:
- HR Drivers Licence (essential)
- Current First Aid & CPR or willing to obtain
- Ability to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance
- Certificate II / III in Drilling Operations
- Section 11 Inductions completed (highly desirable)
- Previous experience in the Drilling industry
- Demonstrated personal commitment to working safely
- Be a team player with good interpersonal skills
