Applicants should be available for an immediate start and willing to work a 20/10 roster on a full time basis. Entry level and experienced positions available
The successful applicant will join existing experienced drill crew and work as part of a small team, key duties and responsibilities include:
- Efficiently complete drilling programs to client requirements
- Equipment servicing and maintenance,
- Drill equipment and consumables management,
- Operation of drill rig and support equipment,
- Working productively and safely to company and client requirements
Candidates must:
- HR Driver’s License is preferred (or willing to obtain)
- Successfully pass a drug & alcohol screen as well as a full physical functional fitness assessment to the companies’ standards
- Be physically fit and prepared to undertake repetitive manual duties
- Have the ability to work well in small teams
- Hold or be able to obtain current National Police Clearance
Please note that this position is very labour intensive and requires working outdoors in remote areas in sometimes extreme weather conditions. You will be required to conduct pre-start checks of light vehicles and rigs, load and unload drill rods, assist in rig and site moves, perform minor maintenance and repairs, collect and prepare core samples, ensure drill site, drill rig, core, hand tools and other equipment are kept in clean, tidy and in optimal operational condition. All applicants will be required to follow both site and company safety policy and procedures and be willing to accept and follow instruction and training from supervisors and management.
Positions will be offered on a rostered 20/10 FIFO basis
