We are seeking Drillers Assistants to join our exploration team, working in the Gunnedah region on a 9/5 roster.
About the roleAs a Driller's Assistant, you'll mobilise drill rigs, maintain equipment, and complete reporting and inspection tasks to meet Client and Company requirements
In this role, you will:
- Assist the Driller in daily operations to ensure all activities are executed safely and efficiently
- Manual Handling of drill rods, casing, core trays, drilling product etc
- Mix and test drilling fluid/chemicals/cement
- Maintain drill rig and associated equipment to a high standard
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Maintain effective communication with the Driller and crew
- Full Time permanent position

About you- Hard working, honest, reliable team player, with good communication skills
- Be able to pass a full Coal Board Order 43 Medical, functional capacity and drug and alcohol assessment
- Hold a current manual drivers licence (HR Licence highly desired)
- Manual labouring experience essential due to physical demands of the position
- Experience in Exploration Drilling (highly desired)
