Driver / Meat Handler

Successful applicants will be required to deliver refrigerated meat (both hanging and carton stock) to drops around the Brisbane, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast area, as well as assisting in cleaning the truck at the end of the day, and maintaining a respectable and clean truck at all times. Full training is included.

THE PERSON

• A willingness to work with meat carcasses is a must.
• Must be physically fit and able to deliver meat carcasses and cartons 
• Must be reliable and energetic with an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude
• Enjoys interacting with customers on a daily basis. 
• Commitment to Safety practices and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE 

• Forklift ticket desirable but not essential
• HR or MR licence is required 
• Experience with multi-drop deliveries desirable
• Experience with temperature-controlled goods highly regarded, not essential - willing to train
• Ability to work early mornings (3am starts)
• Strong customer service focus 
• Clear, concise and fluent communication and writing skills 
• Fitness for duty to load / unload trucks by hand
