AddressThermal Scanners has an exciting opportunity for a diligent and punctual safety observer / driver to join our growing team. This position will involve travelling across SEQ, driving the technician to our clients’ assets to perform a thermal inspection and observing for any safety risks. Please note, we are looking for candidates in the Brisbane Region (Brisbane Central, North or South).
The successful candidates will receive an Attractive Day Rate plus superannuation throughout the term of employment.
Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):
- Correctly set up a Company vehicle with safety equipment and lights,
- Driving technicians in a timely and safe manner to our client’s assets / sites,
- To observe for any safety hazards and ensure exclusion zones are maintained at all times,
- Comply with all WHS policies & procedures, including job safety analysis and risk assessments,
- Meet all daily and weekly KPIs,
- Comply with all reasonable requests made by the technician, and
- Accurate and efficient navigation and time management driving between sites.
We are looking for a person with initiative that has the following qualifications / qualities to contribute to our successful business:
- Current Open Drivers licence,
- Valid First Aid certificate including CPR component (Preferred, or willingness to obtain),
- Low Voltage Rescue certificate (Preferred, or willingness to obtain),
- Safe night driver with great navigation skills,
- Verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service,
- Flexible, reliable and punctual, and
- Willingness to work as a team.
