Trainee Driller/Driller Assistant (Casual Position)

Water Resources Drilling are a Dubbo based company specialising in the drilling of water bores with drilling capability of drilling town water, irrigation and stock and domestic bores throughout NSW. We are currently seeking a person to assist in drilling operations on a casual full time basis

Pre-Requisites:

·         Manual car licence - HR Truck licence Preferred

·         Own reliable transport -.

·         Must be able to provide copies of certificates and qualifications.

·         Must have the ability to work and live in Australia.

·         Live in the Dubbo area or surrounding towns.

·         White Card

Requirement:

·         Work up to 12 hour shifts

·         Work including weekends 19 days on 9 off shift

Key Responsibilities:

·         Carry out Pre-Start checks on rigs, support vehicles and equipment.

·         Loading and unloading equipment and drive Heavy Rigid Trucks as required.

·         Assist the Driller in carrying out field operations.

·         Compliance and duty of care in accordance with the Water Resources Drilling Safety System

·         Perform daily routine tasks with minimal supervision/instruction.

·         Organise work area correctly.

Full time position available after 3 months work.
