About the Role
As RocketDNA continues to expand operations across the country, we are looking for energetic and dedicated Drone Pilots to join our team of professionals in the aerial survey and mapping space. This role entails the planning and execution of drone flights on a mine site in Western Australia on an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster.
Key Duties include
- Execute and supervise all flight and maintenance activities at the site of operation; including flight planning & tracking
- Accountable for the safe operation of each drone
- Conduct aerial surveying and mapping tasks & duties
- Process flight data and complete documentation
- Track & maintain all relevant flight and maintenance documentation
- Processing of accurate and timeous data
- Delivering quality professional services to our clients.
- Maintaining a high level of compliance within CASA regulations and requirements
- Regular reporting and analytics
Skills and Experience
The preferred candidate would have:
- Prior experience in the aviation industry - PPL or CPL would be an advantage
- IREX Rating – very beneficial
- Previous drone experience will be highly valued but is not essential
- Ability to pass regular site and aviation medicals
- Willingness to grow, learn & travel
