Terra Sana Consultants is the leading consulting in methane emissions measurements using drones.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct drone operations to capture data for methane fugitive emissions in landfills, biogas plants, mining, and Oil & Gas facilities.
• Perform fieldwork involving environmental sampling (dust, groundwater, surface water, soil, and waste) for laboratory analysis.
• Interpret data and prepare technical reports.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Tertiary qualification in environmental science, IT, engineering, GIS, geography, data science, computer science/IT, or related discipline.
• CASA Remote Pilot Licence for multi-rotor drones.

Required Skills:

• Experience in commercial RPAS operations, flight planning, and maintenance tasks.
• High level of understanding of the CASA regulatory system.
• Proficient computer skills and troubleshooting ability in the field.
• Strong risk management skills, including hazard identification and mitigation.
• Experience with Esri ArcGIS software suite, GIS applications such as Survey123 and ArcGIS Dashboards.
• Database management skills and proficiency in data visualization or cartography.
• Environmental consulting experience, including fieldwork abilities and understanding of laboratory operations.
• Report writing skills with strong written communication and technical data interpretation capabilities.
• Time management skills and ability to work with moderate oversight.

Additional Requirements:

• Availability to work outdoor and travel for work including interstate and in regional QLD.
• Confident driver ideally with 4WD experience and current Australian driver’s license.
• Good level of fitness for outdoor fieldwork in various environment conditions.
• Strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn new software and equipment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in dynamic environments.
• Assist Senior Staff in project coordination, including stakeholder communication and client relationships.
