About the role

We are looking for a Dry Cleaner Presser to support the company's dry-cleaning function who is able to work different shifts as required. You will be responsible for providing exceptional garment and linen cleaning services that is on time and meets internal and customer standards for household and business customers.

What you will do:

Pressing:

• Operating a steam press to iron all garments to a high standard
• Pressing of all garments to the highest standard
• Ability to identify different types of fabrics and select the appropriate pressing method
• Using a variety of pressing techniques to achieve the desired results
• Applying starch or other fabric treatments
• Maintain pressing equipment in good working condition
• Understand and press according to garment and linen specifications and customer requirements
• Quality control by inspecting all pressed linen and garments meet company standards
• Finish goods in preparation of customer pick-up and or delivery

General:

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Assist other team members to ensure delivery to customers that meet company standards
• Performing other tasks that may be inherent to the position

• Ability to maintain productive relationships at work
• Demonstrate an ability to meet production and quality targets
• Ironing skills are essential
