We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for hospitality to join our team as a Duty Manager. The role of the Duty Manager involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Club, including the management of staff, ensuring excellent customer service for our patrons, and maintaining a pristine venue. This is a hands-on position that will require you to lead by example and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 

This is a full-time position on a rotating roster. The successful applicant will have full availability including nights, weekends and public holidays. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead and manage your team to ensure exceptional service
• Report all daily operational issues and information
• Liaise with Management on operational issues
• Motivate and demonstrate leadership skills to enhance staff enthusiasm
• Opening and closing of the Club – including TAB, Keno, Gaming and cash reconciliation
• Conflict resolution – with staff and customers

Skills and Experience

Skills required but not limited to include:

• Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate and build a team
• Minimum of 2 years’ management experience, preferably in hospitality
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices
• Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
• High level of integrity and respectful of confidentiality 
• Current RSA & RCG
• Current First Aid certificate (preferred)
