We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional with a passion for hospitality to join our team as a Duty Manager. The role of the Duty Manager involves overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of the Club, including the management of staff, ensuring excellent customer service for our patrons, and maintaining a pristine venue. This is a hands-on position that will require you to lead by example and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
This is a full-time position on a rotating roster. The successful applicant will have full availability including nights, weekends and public holidays.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage your team to ensure exceptional service
- Report all daily operational issues and information
- Liaise with Management on operational issues
- Motivate and demonstrate leadership skills to enhance staff enthusiasm
- Opening and closing of the Club – including TAB, Keno, Gaming and cash reconciliation
- Conflict resolution – with staff and customers
Skills and Experience
Skills required but not limited to include:
- Proven leadership experience and the ability to motivate and build a team
- Minimum of 2 years’ management experience, preferably in hospitality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Knowledge of WHS requirements and safe work practices
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet
- High level of integrity and respectful of confidentiality
- Current RSA & RCG
- Current First Aid certificate (preferred)
