Clayton Serviced Apartments is a mix of 1 and 2 bedroom apartments and 3 and 4 bedroom townhouses located close to Monash University, numerous business parks and shopping centres and conveniently located off the Monash Freeway. We provide a short term and long-term service in a modern and beautiful large property. We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join our existing team. This is a casual role with full time hours, leading to a full-time position for the right candidate.

Tasks & responsibilities
As Duty Manager you will be responsible for the smooth running of your shift including
- Managing the Hotel in the absence of senior management.
- Ensuring guest feedback is recorded accurately and action any service recovery required.
- Manage the guest arrival and departure experience.
- Monitor room allocations.
- Ensuring daily and nightly front desk tasks are actioned and completed.
- Ensure all accounting processes are achieved as per hotel standards.
- Work closely with the General Manager to deliver brand standard rooms, products and services.
- Promote a strong team culture across the Hotel including developing and maintaining interdepartmental relationships.
- Driving revenue targets.
- Organize and liaise with housekeeping & maintenance staff to ensure rooms are ready on time and are of the highest standards at all times
To be successful in this role you will have
- Similar experience in a 4-star or 5-star hotel.
- Working knowledge of a Property Management System preferably REI Cloud and similar.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- A passion for the hospitality industry.
- Impeccable grooming and presentation.
- Ability to drive a strong team culture.
- Full availability to work a 7-day rotating roster.
