The role:
- Perform a variety of assessments depending on your area of clinical expertise. This may include ADL’s, functional capacity evaluations, worksite, and ergonomic assessments;
- Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including the employee who has suffered injury, illness, or trauma, medical specialists, and other treatment providers;
- Liaising with clients, insurers, medical practitioners and employers to achieve a common goal;
- Develop, implement and monitor rehabilitation plans for one customer group and become an expert across the DVA portfolio
Work location may vary between the Acumen office and customer worksite with some work from home options.

What will make you successful:
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC/RCAA or AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
- Minimum of 1 year Occupational Rehabilitation experience is preferred
- Ideally you will have experienced in
- Providing clinical rehab to clients in a similar environment
- Providing support for clients with mental health concerns
- Case management
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Exposure to clients within the DVA or ADF cohort would be advantageous
