An exciting opportunity has opened for an E-Commerce Manager to join the David Lawrence team, based in our amazing Support Office in Alexandria! Please note this a 12 Month Maternity Leave cover.
Reporting into the Head of E-Commerce, you will be responsible for increasing Brand’s online store conversion and sales through optimal website performance, coordination of online trading activity, planning and monitoring of sales, and continuous improvement of website design, content, functionality, and user experience; aiming to provide the best online experience for our customers.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Oversee, manage, report on and drive website performance; Sales and profit budget achievement
- Site optimisation to achieve critical online metrics including; bounce rate, conversion, time on site, member sign ups
- Ensuring site is fully optimised for all traffic sources,
- Create and manage areas of site content: metadata, product descriptions, faq’s, policies and procedures
- Manage the set up and execution of discounts and promotions on the website
- Manage all website content, products & imagery ensuring all are updated and displaying to brand guidelines and to deadline
- Determine website improvements and build a roadmap for execution
- Liaise with 3rd party agencies to ensure data flows are functioning in line with expectation
- Ensure brand consistency with stores and other digital channels;
- Server optimisation to ensure sufficient volume for peak concurrent users and budget management
- Manage digital marketing and external agencies
- Developing the global online strategic direction for the brand, in collaboration with the head of ecommerce
- Identifying the long term risks and opportunities for the digital landscape, develop and seek business buy in for how to capitalize and risk manage as appropriate
- Ensure all digital activity is consistent with brand aesthetic & direction
- Ensure the website look feel and performance reflects the brand positioning
The successful candidate will have:
- 3+ years’ experience managing an ecommerce business ideally within fashion retail
- relevant tertiary qualification e.g. ecommerce, business, commerce
- Magento experience
- experience working with an ecommerce/retail combined business
- experience in budget & vendor management
- experience working parallel and collaboratively with a marketing function
- successful track record in analysis and reporting on relevant metrics
- you’re an able multitasker, prioritising your workload appropriately
- you’re customer centric – everything you do is with our customer in mind
