Qualifications & experience

  • Degree in Marketing, Business administration or related field
  • Minimum 1 year experience with Amazon (Vendor Central and Amazon advertising) and other commercial marketplaces. Experience in managing an internal e-comms platform an advantage
  • In-tune with new e-business trends, best practices, and tools
  • Above average IT / computer skills
  • Knowledge of photoshop, InDesign or Canva and advantage
  • Attention to detail with strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven recommendations
  • Commercial acumen (strong grasp of financial metrics, P&L)
  • Strategic orientation
  • Solid negotiation skills
  • Organised, flexible, self-starter and results-oriented.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • Maintain product pages and Amazon brand store ensuring content is up-to-date and accurate (SEO, images, videos and copy). Create and maintain A+ and rich content, ensuring content is optimised for SEO, updated with latest assets from HQ and consistent with all marketing touchpoints.
  • Manage promotional calendars and fully integrate with sales and marketing actions; fill submission forms when necessary
  • Account management: build and develop relationship with buyers, negotiate growth plans, present new products when necessary
  • Monitor performance KPIs (sales, profitability, advertising) and optimise as needed, utilising available tools and resources (such as Vendor Central) and propose action plans. Regular reporting of results to the business.
  • Develop e-business strategy in collaboration with Marketing Manager. Implement advertising campaigns consistent with overall Marketing strategy. Prepare marketing strategies to improve Amazon algorithm and increase sales
  • Track and report competitive information and report on emerging trends
  • Creating online content and assets using Canva, Photoshop or InDesign
  • Processing of orders and coordinate process with logistic team. Ensure accurate orders and follow up disputes and invoicing with Finance Manager
  • Build and maintain relationship with counterparts in other markets, sharing best practices and information.
  • Assist with the maintenance of product code database and submission forms. Maintain and update GS1 National Product Catalogue enabling EDI orders. Maintain and update SKULibrary and rich content on customers' online platform.
