AddressPocketAid is Hiring! Join our team on a permanent part-time basis (two days per week, 100% of work is on-site) as a Web Developer and Project Implementation Specialist for our numerous E-Commerce brands. You will be the driving force in bringing to life the digital vision of our established brands: PocketAid, TV Voice Pro, and upcoming brands in our portfolio.
Your Role:
- Solely responsible for the deployment of website projects across multiple e-commerce brands, from beginning to project completion, working in WordPress.
- Execute the vision provided by the directors, focusing on impeccable implementation rather than ideation.
- Collaborate with teams to develop and enhance websites, ensuring a captivating user experience.
- Regularly update and maintain the websites with fresh content, technical improvements, and brand-specific features.
- Lead the development of new websites for upcoming brands, optimizing performance for speed, usability, and mobile-responsiveness.
- Contribute to SEO tasks: keyword research, on-page optimization, and rank monitoring for each brand.
We're Looking For:
- A Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years' experience ideally in multi-brand website development and optimization, or full stack website development at very high standards.
- Direct experience working in e-commerce
- Someone with the skills to personally execute all website requirements, with almost no outsourcing of skills required.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and content management systems, especially WordPress.
- Exceptional execution skills, with a focus on delivering projects to the highest standards.
- Ability to work independently, owning the deployment process from start to finish. All work is to be performed on-site within our Varsity Lakes head office. No off-site work is available.
- Strong communication skills to understand and implement directorial vision effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar multi-brand role.
- Solid understanding of SEO best practices.
