Early Childhood Specialist - NDIS

Classification: Dependent on qualification and experience - Grade 2 equivalent
Hours per fortnight: Up to 80 hours per fortnight
Status: Full Time Permanent (Part Time Job share considered)
ERH services the Shire of Campaspe and the cross-border Murray River Council. Echuca Moama and townships are located directly across the state border from one another, separated by the Murray River.

Applications are sought from suitably qualified Early Childhood professionals to work as part of the NDIS team at Echuca Regional Health.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working as part of the NDIS team to provide Early Childhood Supports for children with developmental delay or disability
- Provide evidence-based assessments and intervention including the development of support plans
- Working with the care team to capacity build suports around the child
- Promoting a culture of continuous quality improvment
Our team requires someone who has:
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Passion for working with children and families to help them achieve their goals
- Proven experience in working as part of an multidisciplinary or interdisciplinary team
- High-level awareness of inclusion and equity
- Demonstrated knowledge of best practice in Early Childhood Intervention
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
This position requires completion of a satisfactory National Police Check and (where relevant), provision of a Working With Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check prior to appointment. In addition, this position requires evidence of vaccination status for COVID-19.
