Tara Montessori Midland is a small intimate 30 place family run business. We offer educational based on the Montessori pedagogy and the EYLF learning outcomes for children aged 18 months to 6 years.
We’re looking for an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to develop programs and practices that are responsive to our children’s needs and aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standard. You will be part of our supportive team and have access to a qualified mentor to support your professional development and growth.
We welcome the following Qualifications and skills:
- Hold a Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification (ACECQA approved)
- Hold a current First Aid qualification.
- An ability to plan innovative and engaging child-initiated curriculums. incorporating both indoor and outdoor environments, sustainability. nature play, and local excursions.
- Be able to document children’s learning and development to a high standard to make children’s learning visible.
- Champion positive and meaningful relationships with children.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills, good Leadership skills and a high level of self-motivation.
- The ability to establish an excellent rapport with children and families.
- Have an understanding of the Montessori philosophy.
