AddressAustralian Early Childhood College (AECC) is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that specialises in Early Childhood education and care. We currently have a position available for a trainer to work across Adelaide and surrounding suburbs to train and assess in Cert 3 and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
We have been working in South Australia for over 10 years and all of our students are employed in regulated Early Childhood services. Our trainers visit students in their workplace and complete training and administrative work from their home offices. The employment package includes above award salaries, equipment, IT and phones for the home office as well as a company car for visits.
It is important to us that our Trainers have experience as Managers in regulated Early Childhood service/s. You will be supporting students' theory work as well as assessing and supporting the development of practical skills visiting students in their workplaces and working in collaboration with Centre staff.
Essential criteria:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122
- Degree in Early Childhood preferred.
- Current Working with Children’s Check
- Current driver’s license
- Ability to travel and be away from home for short periods.
- Space to work from home.
Experience:
- Childcare Centre experience, we are looking for people who have been Centre Managers or Educational Leaders with strong background experience.
- Working knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework
- Working knowledge of the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015
