About the role
Client Experience and Business Development Manager
STEP4 is looking for an experienced Client Experience and Business Development Manager that is keen to further their experience and build on their career. The role will primarily involve external duties such as :
- client visits to build relationships and business opportunities
- client follow up in person and by phone/email
- lead and opportunity development
- exhibition displays
- dynamic and enthusiastic ambassador duties
There will be some travel involved as and when required both nearby and interstate.
The role will also involve limited internal requirements which will be a minor part of the role.
The successful applicant will enjoy contributing to a dynamic team that is ensuring continuing solid growth for the company whilst ensuring financial remuneration for staff that reflects individual goals.
Benefits and perks
- Starting Annual Salary $75,000 - 100,000 + car allowance subject to experience
- Minimum of 8 hours per day required, between the core hours of operation of 7am to 5pm (half hour lunch) plus reasonable additional hours as required during periods of peak workload and to meet deadlines

- Commissions for sales over breakeven - potentially $20,000+per year
Skills and experience
Applicants must have extensive sales & marketing and/or education resource industry experience (minimum 2 years) This could even include child care industry experience (no sales experience required for Early Years educators); particularly experience with new centre start ups. A minimum of 3 relevant past employer references to be supplied. The applicant must be happy to abide by our core values:
