Early Morning production - Cook/Chef

Airport Retail Enterprises is a well-established and successful Australian owned and operated business operating airport Food and Beverage outlets across Australia including Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast, Townsville and Mt Isa Airports.

Airport Retail Enterprises at the Gold Coast Airport are currently looking for an Experienced Cook/Chef to work in our Production Kitchen and in our busy venues. 

Our venues include:

• Wollumbin Bar & Restaurant 
• Paradox Bar & Restaurant. 
• The Sand Bar 
• Merlo 
• Social - New venue opening soon. 
• Beach Bar and Shack - New venue opening soon. 

Our team consists of 100+ Chefs, Kitchen Staff, F&B Attendants & Baristas, delivering awesome Food & Beverage experiences across our 4 Fast Paced Venues at the Gold Coast Airport.

Due to our growth, we are looking for an Early riser with exceptional organisational skills and a passion for culinary creativity, to work the 4am starts which will include both weekend days. 

Specifically, you will be responsible for performing the following tasks:

• Kickstarting our kitchen operations each day. 
• Co-ordinating production schedules. 
• Preparing High Quality Fresh Food - using locally sourced ingredients. 
• Maintaining ARE Food Safety Plan Procedures and Standards.
• Complying with WHS and Food Safety Legislation.
• Ensuring that the food prep area and kitchen are cleaned and sanitised at the end of your shift. 
• Collaborating with the executive chef and production manager on workflow improvements and wastage control.
