Are you a school leaver, or a mature age person wanting to change their occupation, or are you interested in working with children?

Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our staff team in 2024.

Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre is a non-for-profit long day care service that offers high quality education and care to 39 children daily. 

When you join our team, you will:

  • - be paid to train and learn, completing a Certificate III in Education and Care
  • - have off the floor training time during work hours.
  • - be mentored by highly qualified and experienced staff.
  • - be part of our highly skilled workforce and community.

Qualifications & experience

We are looking for an individual who is: 

  • - willing to study their Early Childhood Education and Care Certificate III and complete all requirements within the prescribed timeframes.
  • - interested in obtaining employment in Early Childhood education.
  • - has a positive work ethic.
  • - reliable and punctual.
  • - has good time management skills.
  • - has excellent communication skills and the ability to build collaborative relationships with all staff, children and families.
  • - has the ability to work effectively and positively within a team environment.
  • - has been cleared to work with children, having completed and Working with Children check.

Tasks & responsibilities

While working at Elermore Vale Early Learning Centre you will

  • - Work within the National Quality Framework, The ECA Code of Ethics, the service philosophy, job description, center policies and procedures.
  • - Consistently contribute as an effective team member.
  • - Assist other educators to implement a high-quality curriculum which is responsive to children's strengths, interests and needs.
  • - Help maintain aesthetically welcoming, safe and practical environments.
  • - Have the ability to develop strong professional relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • - Contribute to the planning, implementation and documentation of the learning program as appropriate for current level of training.
