We are looking to hire a full-time Senior eCommerce Operator/Scanner to work onsite at our Perth warehouse from Monday to Friday. There will be some periods of the year (usually through October till December) where overtime will be required as day-to-day operations permit, we will always provide sufficient notice when this will be necessary.
Responsibilities
- Your main responsibility will be to manage the end-to-end eComm operation for our business whilst also managing a small team and ensuring that, as a team, you're meeting high standards and attention to detail is consistently maintained.
- Autonomy, initiative and a desire to work hard as part of a small, close-knit team is a must!
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the E-Commerce Scanning and Processing of consignments
- Partner with temporary staffing agencies to support high peak periods and demands
- Look for ways to optimize processes, driving costs containment
- Drive cost improvement activities by identifying system improvements, headcount optimization, and improved square footage utilization
- Maintain e-Com reports and have complete visibility
- Managing “E-com staff on-site including hiring and onboarding, training, and mentoring of the team to be highly functional and effective
- Optimize warehouse processes by allocating Scanner operator staff to the appropriate tasks
- Set clear and measurable objectives for the team; assess and support each to develop their functional and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, organizational and problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills, ability to navigate between several modules/programs
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc.
- 2+ years of people management and/or leadership experience is required
- Relevant education OR equivalent work experience in warehouse, inventory management, fulfillment is an asset.
