About the Centre: Exceeding childcare centre located in Engadine are seeking an ECT to join their wonderful team! This team offers a child-led approach to their programs in a safe, healthy and stimulating environment. They have a beautiful indoor/outdoor space, central playground, extensive recourses and 5 mins from the train station!

Position: Early Childhood Teacher - Preschool Room Position
Location: Engadine
Type: Full-Time
Offering: $38-$48ph (based on experience) + super 

Responsibilities:

• Take a lead in the development, delivery and evaluation of a quality early learning program for children enrolled in the Centre, ensuring individual children’s strengths, interests and needs are identified and their learning enhanced
• Monitor and document children’s development and progress through a diverse range of methods that reflect the principles of the Early Years Learning Framework.
• To engage in face-to-face teaching as well as non-teaching tasks that supports the centre and operational requirements
• Collaborate with children about their interests and support children in learning about the decision making process
• Create a stimulating, positive and developmentally appropriate environment to foster and support all facets of child development

Required:

• University qualifications in Early Childhood Education and registration with NESA
• Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
• Knowledge of the National Quality Standards & Early Years Learning Framework
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent relationship building skills
• Understanding of child protection legislation, including an approved & current child protection training qualification
