We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at Mount Gravatt. The role is working 37.5 hours per week, with flexibility of set shift times that can be negotiated.
THE ROLE
- Your passion and enthusiasm will see you lead a classroom by effectively engaging with educators, families and children to implement the educational program for our Kindergarten children
- You will be responsible for the day to day management of your classroom and flexible routines
- You will have knowledge of the EYLF, transition statements and understanding of the NQF/NQS
- Demonstrate a sound understanding of the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guidelines
- Work at all times in compliance with Government regulations to meet high quality standards
- Network with relevant stakeholders in the local community
- Provide a comprehensive transition to school program
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Bachelor of Early Childhood or equivalent qualification as approved by ACECQA
- Current approved first aid, anaphylaxis and asthma qualifications
- Current Blue Card
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of the EYLF, NQF and QKLG
