One that is equitable and prioritises learning and wellbeing.Together we will make our education system the best it can be.When our children and young people thrive, so do our communities and our state.About the RoleThe Learning Together Educator will be responsible for planning and facilitating supported playgroups (including outreach/mobile playgroups), providing 1:1 mentoring to community playgroup facilitators (on department and community sites) and supported transition services (as appropriate) based on community need.QualificationsEssential: Must have, or be actively working towards, an approved certificate III level education and care qualification or other post secondary qualifications in childcare, education, behavioural science or social work studies.
A current approved first aid qualification, anaphylaxis and emergency management training (refer to the ACECQA website for lists of approved qualifications).Desirable: Diploma in Education and Care.Special ConditionsThe successful applicant is required to gain a Department for Human Services (DHS) working with children check (WWCC) prior to being employed which is required to be renewed every five years before expiry.
