Talent International is currently recruiting for an Editorial Advisorto work for an NSW Government client based in Rozelle/Sydney Olympic Park. This is contract role 3-months contract with the view to be extended. The role is paying between $45 - $52/hour + Super.
Office Location - First week weeks in Rozelle, NSW, then the office will be shifting to Sydney Olympic Park.
Primary purpose of the role
Develop and implement internal and external marketing and communication campaigns that deliver effective messaging to client's audiences and stakeholders and make a significant contribution to achieving organisational objectives and building reputation. The role is a member of the Media and Communications team and positively promotes the activities of the client internally and externally, educates the public about the organisation's purpose and operations and protects the public client's brand and reputation.
Key accountabilities
- Create, edit and proof content distributed through a range of corporate communication channels to ensure accurate and integrated key messaging.
- Provide strategic communications advice to project and other managers across the organisation to ensure all communications achieve objectives.
- Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communications and channels through feedback loops built into all communications.
- Research, write and distribute content to support internal and external print and digital publications including Sirens, internet, intranet, presentations, and corporate documents.
- Contribute to the effective management and scheduling of communications by contributing to the Media and Communications calendar and ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Working with the client Media team, ensure a dynamic presence on social media which supports messaging, reinforces the brand and engages audiences.
- Support the Director, Media and Communications in implementing the Media and Communications strategy, communication activities and events as required.
Essential requirements
