Education Assistant - Secondary Education

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Secondary Education Assistant to assist with our Learning Support programs.  The Education Assistant may work independently with small groups of students, or on a one-to-one basis, on literacy and numeracy tasks across a range of year levels (focus on Secondary), as well as assisting the classroom teacher as required. 

This exciting opportunity is for a part-time role (approx. 20 hours per week) and is available for immediate commencement.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• The ability to model Christian ethics and activity
• Certificate III in Education Support preferred, but not essential
• Experience in a learning support role or similar looked upon favourably
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Current Working With Children card
• Current First Aid and Anaphylaxis / Asthma certificates, preferred but not essential
