Our Role
Join our dedicated team in a dynamic and supportive role as part of our Education Support Staff (ESS). This part-time position (FTE 0.6) is a fixed-term contract for one year, specifically aimed at enhancing our Individual Needs program, which supports secondary students to be their best and achieve their best.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting students individually or in groups in specific learning areas
- Facilitating communication between students and teachers and aiding in the interpretation of instructions
- Providing general support and care for students
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to program evaluations
- Supporting student involvement in a variety of settings including classrooms, playgrounds, camps, excursions, and sporting events
- Preparing and managing student resources and equipment
- Promoting and ensuring inclusive practices and student independence
- Uphold our Child Safety standards and policies at all times
- Uphold the values and vision of Kingswood College, contributing positively to our community.
Successful applicants will:
- Hold a valid Employment Working With Children Check
