Education Support Staff (ESS) - Part time .4 FTE/2 days
POSITION SUMMARY
The Learning Co-op Education Support Staff provide critical support to teachers, and children so that all our students can meaningfully engage in learning opportunities and social relationships during their day at Co-op. Each ESS is assigned particular students to support, while also providing general support to students Prep-Year 6 in response to the needs and priorities on the day.
Co-op Education Support Staff provide individual (1:1) learning, and support children to participate in group activities. This role requires someone who is attuned to the emotional and social regulation of the children, with a respectful and responsive attitude to the diverse brains, bodies and experiences that impact student learning. Our ESS team members enjoy a dynamic environment, are flexible and adaptive to the circumstances day to day.

The Learning Co-operative is a small, independent and progressive primary school situated on 17 acres of beautiful bush land close to the township of Hurstbridge, Victoria. The Co-op focuses on flexible, child centred, play based and outdoor learning experiences to support creative and critical thinking skills in our students.
