About the Centre/Service Ormond Community Kindergarten (OCK) is a sessional 3 and 4-year-old kindergarten service run by a volunteer parent committee with strong links to our local community. We are located in Ormond, in the South Eastern suburbs of Melbourne on the land of the Boon wurrung people. We welcome each child’s uniqueness and assist them to create their own, through play-based learning. We encourage them to explore, take risks, use their imagination, laugh and we listen to them and encourage them to listen to others. As a not for profit, we strive to form strong, meaningful, inclusive relationships with each other, the children, families and our wider community. We are a supportive team environment with an operations manager who manages the day to day organisational tasks so our teaching staff can focus on the children, program and families.
