Scientific Review and Research
Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses
12 month Contract, flexible WFH
Reporting to the Director Evidence Synthesis and Innovation Research, you will support the planning and conduct of evidence reviews (system, living and meta-analyses) and primary research aiming to deliver the best available research evidence to inform the Agency's decisions.
You will provide detailed technical, professional, policy and operational support and advice in relation to complex problems and assist in strategic planning, program and project management and policy development to support the objectives of the Agency.
Key Responsibilities:
Designing and documenting protocols for environmental scans, evidence snapshots, scoping or systematic reviews of evidence relevant to participants or models of practice
Conduct searches of scientific and grey literature in accordance with Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) standards
Perform research in line with documented protocols for inclusion/exclusion of records, data extraction, quality appraisal and data synthesis
Preparing and presenting research reports and recommendations for different stakeholders
Contributing methodological or subject matter expertise in research methods, psychosocial disability, early childhood interventions or neurological disorders or other areas with relevance to disability supports
Ideally you will possess:
Extensive research and/or academia background
Evidence synthesis and statistical analysis experience using R
Proven experience with Evidence Synthesis, systematic reviews, meta-analyses and statistical modelling
Prior research experience in disability, psychology, medicine, epidemiology, education, economics, social science, statistics or related fields
