You’ll be joining a large Department at the forefront of protecting Australia and its national interests.
The Role:
This is a newly created role to join a program area rather than central function. Working with policy and project experts, you will take the lead with limited direction and deliver a range of communications products for both internal and external audiences.
You will deliver a broad range of communications including brochures, fact sheets, talking points, scripts etc.
This position is best suited to a ‘generalist’ Communications Manager who doesn’t mind tackling a range of tasks for various audiences.
Your Skills and Experience:
To be considered for this position you must have previous EL1 experience (substantive or acting). Non-APS experience will not be considered for this position.

Salary/rate: The hourly rate for this position is between $85 - $100 per hour + super. If your current rate falls outside of this, please reach out for a discussion. The annual salary will be offered based on experience and/or current salary if you are permanent APS.
