I am partnered with a Federal Government Agency in the heart of Geelong to recruit an EL1 Continuous Improvement for a 12-month, full-time temporary assignment with the potential to extend. Your new role 
The Enabling Services Transformation and Improvement Branch improves the delivery of enabling services within the Agency. The branch focuses on the systems and processes of enabling services to deliver a better staff experience to wider-Agency. Prioritising Continuous Improvement, efficiency, and service quality in Agency Enabling Services. The Enabling Services Transformation and Improvement Branch will develop and implement tools and technology to analyse and design the service value in organisational design, enterprise architecture, and performance efficiencies in business areas across the Enabling Services / Chief Operating Officer Group in alignment with strategy. The branch will support implementation of improvements through change management methodologies and introduce desktop technology productivity applications to improve ways of working.
Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in leading multiple business improvement engagements that transition business experiences to their desired future states.
  • Ensuring that project quality management meets required standard, deliverables are fit for purpose and meet client needs.
  • Driving operating model maturity, process uplift and transformation in end-to-end business outcomes.
  • Applying improvement frameworks to drive improved business outcomes.
  • Applying change management support to embed business area transformation and improvements.
  • Drafting a range of written material including business cases, plans, briefs, performance and status reporting and corporate documentation for review.
  • Tailoring and developing initiatives that directly enhance the operational efficiency of their respective business areas.
  • Leading the development of strategic communications and engagement plans and both writing and/or presenting content, including executive briefs, talking point, presentations, and staff notices.

    Development of transformation roadmaps
    Strong stakeholder management skillset
    Business architecture
    Improvement frameworks (e.g. Lean methodologies)
