About the Role:
As the EL1 Procurement and Contracts (Labour Hire), you will play a pivotal role in driving quality outcomes within our Client's Procurement functions. Your responsibilities will encompass leadership, strategic planning, and fostering a collaborative environment to ensure efficient procurement processes.
Key duties include:
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to anticipate and address upcoming issues.
- Partnering with our client's business areas to develop market approach documentation, evaluate tenders, and negotiate contracts.
- Leading an integrated approach to identify procurement requirements early in the process.
- Ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and procurement policies.
- Managing policy reviews for continuous improvement.

About You:
To thrive in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated procurement experience in federal or state government.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team effectively.
- Relevant qualification in Commonwealth Procurement (desirable).
