EL1 Servie Designer

Randstad is a preferred supplier across local, state and federal government. We are proud to currently be partnering with a well established Federal Government client in helping them recruit for multiple EL1 Service Designers.
The division’s work is to design and deliver improvement across human centered services to provide quality participant outcomes and enhance their service experience. This experience-design work also aims to improve the agency’s frontline operations. By using user research, persona development and journey mapping the Service Designer will be responsible for proficiency developing the visual designs and collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
The EL1 Service Designer is responsible for actively managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and where required will represent and negotiate on behalf of the agency to advance the interests across a range of forums.
The communications advisor will:

• Leading, researching and identifying insights contributing to Agency understanding of information.
• Overseeing, creating and documenting current state service through design and research, to identify current participant and staff experience and business processes.
• Leading and managing process design improvements.
• Advocating for the voice and experience of participants and stakeholders through work processes.
• Leading and facilitating design-thinking sessions with service users to design and test future service processes, channel and experiences.
• Applying in-depth knowledge of the role and functions of the agency and the related impacts across work areas.
• Overseeing end-to-end service experiences in line with the Digital Service Standard, ensuring changes are based on participant and staff need and are consistent for all users across different touchpoints.
• Evaluating proposed solutions and design at both a conceptual and tactical level.
• Providing guidance, coaching team members and meeting the needs of service users with quality deliverables.

What You’ll Receive

• 12x month contract
• $602.55 daily rate + super
• Brisbane city location
