Form of workHOBAN Recruitment is excited to partner with a leading organisation in the disability sector, located in CANBERRA ACT, to find a dynamic professional for the role of EL2 LevelTargeted Research and Strategic Evaluation (Labour Hire).
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in shaping evidence-based decision-making within the Disability Sector.
About the Role:
As the EL2 LevelTargeted Research and Strategic Evaluation (Labour Hire), you will be accountable for high-level, complex, and sensitive work that contributes to our client's functions. This role requires a significant degree of independence, decision-making, and judgement, overseeing complex projects and work programs of strategic importance.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a multidisciplinary team delivering robust mixed methods Research and evaluations, including inferential statistical analyses.
- Develop and manage program logic models, theory of change, and evaluation frameworks.
- Lead innovative approaches to use existing and new data for measuring outcomes for the client and its participants.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the preparation of high-quality written evaluation findings, including business cases, Parliamentary briefs, and more.
- Promote a culture of evaluative thinking across the company and build the capacity of other business units to undertake evaluations.

About You:
We are seeking an experienced professional with:
- 3+ years in leadership roles in large-scale, complex evaluations.
- Expertise in analytics/statistics and a proven track record in either State, federal, or consultancy evaluation leadership roles.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to work collaboratively to determine program logics and outcomes.
- Experience in independently designing evaluations and producing logic models reflecting stakeholder/Agency needs.
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end formative and impact evaluations influencing positive change.
- Proficiency in quantitative, qualitative, and economic evaluation methods.
- Strong coaching skills to nurture a team of evaluation experts.
- Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- Academic or evaluation qualifications.
