Specific Duties/Responsibilities
- Develop project plans and schedules informing the establishment of the project
- Manage engagement with state and territory stakeholders to inform project delivery
- Manage and contribute to governance, reporting and contractual arrangements to ensure an effective delivery of a national emergency management stockpile
- Manage and oversee the procurement, contracting and budget requirements for the overall project.

- Build and maintain professional networks to support project outcomes
- Provide high level support to senior executive officers within the portfolio and Ministers' offices
- Set priorities, assign tasks, allocate appropriate resources and clarify the outcomes required, based on agreed business plans
- Develop high-level written material, submissions or briefs, such as Annual Report, Senate Estimate briefs and Questions on Notice, departmental briefs and correspondence, corporate documentation, and reports in relation to sensitive matters
- Coach, mentor and promote staff development opportunities including the development of specialist, professional and/or technical expertise.
