About The Role
A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our Electrical and Instrumentation (E&I) team at our Torrens Island Power Station. Reporting to our Group Leader E&I, you will play a pivotal role in ongoing engineering initiatives, contributing expertise in design, testing, production, and equipment operation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Developing test standards and procedures with team guidance.
Aiding in diagnosing system failures using advanced testing methods.
Providing technical insights for product/process modifications and result interpretation.
Utilising procedures and equipment to generate necessary data and aid in interpretation.
Setting up, testing, and calibrating equipment while handling projects and offering guidance to junior technicians.
About You
As our Electrical and Instrumentation Technician, you will assist in diagnosing technical issues and will utilise your comprehensive knowledge to aid in the design, operation, and maintenance of equipment, tools, and services.
What You’ll Bring To The Table
Trade qualification in Electrical and Instrumentation required.
Demonstrated experience in a related role.
In-depth knowledge of relevant discipline principles and professional objectives.
Proficient in developing test standards, diagnosing issues, and interpreting results.
Skilled in setting up, testing, calibrating equipment and project handling.
