Our host employer are a licenced Electrical Contractor and Industrial Automation Specialist that employ industrial electricians and electrical engineers. They are system integrators for popular brands including, Allen Bradley, Siemens, CITECT plus more. Be a part of a company that offers excellent service & provides high end expertise with SCADA and Historian packages such as FT View and CITECT.
Work for a company who focuses on career progression and investing their time into your career with them. As an Industrial Electrician you will be working away and performing tasks relating to installing, maintaining, testing & inspecting electrical systems in industrial settings. Cabling, wiring, cleaning, conduit, and much more is what your day-to-day would look like.
What's involved?
During the 48 month training contact you get to the learn the following:
- Installing wiring systems, accessories and appliances
- Connecting electrical circuits
- Solving problems related to electrical equipment
- Troubleshooting and repair of electrical and material handling equipment.
- Using a high degree of accuracy and safety
- Working away (costs covered by the company including, travel, accommodation and food allowance)
What do I need before I get started?
- A Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Preferred)
- Drivers License
- White Card
