Electrical Commissioning Manager

My client, a well established and respected MEP delivery and commissioning contractor operating across Australia in the commercial construction world are looking to add an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to their organisation.

The ideal candidate will be from a commercial construction background and have some exposure to data centre builds.

General duties will include but not be limited to:

• Writing MEP commissioning brief and scope at an early stage of the project.
• Undertake whole project review in respect of commissioning.

• Lead and manage the commissioning process for electrical systems, including coordination with subcontractors, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Develop commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures to ensure efficient project execution.
• Coordinating the inspection, identification, recognition and witnessing of technical elements and defects.
• Conduct site inspections and quality checks to verify compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective solutions to ensure smooth commissioning operations.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, design teams, and clients to address project needs and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports throughout the commissioning process.
• Manage, oversee and direct the Quality Assurance strategy
• Reviewing all cause and effect documentation
