The Role

We are currently seeking suitably qualified Crane Technicians and Electricians wanting to upskill as Electrical Crane Technicians to join our Cranes and Lifting Team in Darwin to support our key local clients. As an Electrical Crane Technician at Pressure Dynamics, you will be tasked with carrying out inspections, maintenance, fault-finding, installation and commissioning of pedestal and gantry cranes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conducting routine and corrective crane maintenance 
  • Performing troubleshooting and fault-finding of crane systems
  • Preparing detailed crane condition checklists and site service reports
  • Surveying/scoping up crane maintenance activities to identify labour, materials and equipment required for execution
  • Replacement of crane components; i.e. hooks, wire ropes, motors, brakes, limit switches, load monitoring systems, etc

Qualifications & Experience

  • 2-5 years' experience as a Crane Technician (desirable)
  • Experience with electrical installations, commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Recognised Electrical Trade Certificate
