Form of workOur client is a manufacturing business based in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne. They require the services of an Electrical Draftsperson / Engineer to work on an on-going contract / casual capacity to support their multi-disciplined engineering design team.
Our client is flexible regarding this role, it could either suit an experienced Electrical Draftsperson, OR an Electrical Engineer who is familiar with Electrical Drawings, OR an Electrician or Electrical Trades person who is familiar with Electrical Drawings and would consider a career in Drafting. The role will offer mentoring and training if required and will see you supply electrical drafting support to our client’s existing multi-disciplined project design team.
Key requirements for this role include:
- An understanding of Industrial Electrical Power Systems and the associated Control Systems
- Ideally some Electrical CAD Drafting experience in a Heavy Manufacturing environment, this would be an advantage
- Good computer skills and ideally some AutoCAD skills
- The ability to merge into a multi-disciplined Engineering team
- The ability to pick up new concepts quickly
- Able to work well under direction and communicate effectively with Electrical Engineers and Electrical Trades People.
