AddressAre you an experienced Electrical Engineer that has direct experience with the design and implementation of physical ICT communication systems. We currently have a permanent opportunity based in Canberra for an Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team.
In this role you will be responsible for the design of physical ICT communication systems and hardware for protected networks.
This project is in the design phase and expected to go through to implementation mid next year. The successful candidate will have a direct influence on project outcomes.
The Role:
- Conduct design and implementation of physical ICT communications systems
- Provide mentorship and guidance to Electronic Design Engineers
- Undertake electronic design analyses
- Produce electronic designs in accordance with requirements
- Develop test procedures and plans
- Sound electrical calculation experience
- Engineering design tasks and modifications
- Prepare and review documentation required to support designs
- Good communications experience both written and oral
Experience required:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in electronics engineering
- Minimum 5 years' experience in similar role
- Proven experience in the design and implementation of physical ICT communications systems
- Excellent knowledge and experience with design
- Must be experienced in working in a fast-paced environment
- A strong level of problem-solving skills
- Excellent Systems Engineering knowledge
Due to the nature of this project candidates must hold Australian Citizenship and hold or be eligible for an AGSVA / DFAT clearance
