Electrical Design Manager

Searson Buck are Seeking an Electrical Design Manager for our client in the Launceston Area.The role of the Electrical Design Manager is primarily responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of Electrical Design activities within the organisation.Key Responsibilities:

• Industrial Electrician or Certificate III in Electrotechnology, with a minimum of 5 years' experience or A degree qualification in Electrical Engineering from a recognised University
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in Automation (SCADA and PLC Controls), VSD's, and Motor/Pump Control.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Hold a unrestricted and current driver's licence
• Ability to travel intrastate, interstate, or internationally if required.

Desirable and Other Requirements:

• Previous experience in the design, operation, and maintenance of hydro, solar or similar assets.
• Experience in workflow Max or other relevant IT tools.
• Licences / Registrations
• Tasmanian Drivers Licence - C Class or Higher
• Tasmanian Electrician's licensee
• White Card
• Work Safely at Heights
• High Risk Work Licence with Forklift Truck (LF),
• Elevated Work Platforms (WP)
• First Aid & CPR
• Low Voltage Rescue
