Electrical Drafter

About The Role:
This role is ideally suited to an Electrical Engineering Drafter with 3+ years of practical experience in electrical and instrumentation design and drafting.

Who You Are:

• Demonstrated experience using AutoCAD and/or Draftsight or AutoCAD Electrical
• Understand hydraulic and pneumatic circuits
• Experienced in using SolidWorks Electrical is desirable
• Experienced in electrical drafting for hazardous areas is desirable.

What You Will Typically Be Doing:

• Preparing design plans, drawings, layouts, material lists, job files and documentation associated with projects and technical support
• Preparing detailed engineering drawings for electrical systems, single lines, control schematics, cable schedules, block diagrams, system architecture and termination diagrams
• Providing electrical design support to the Electrical Supervisor for installation
• Revising and updating electrical drawings as needed based on changes in design, customer requirements, or to correct errors in initial plans
• Producing detailed bills of materials, maintaining drawing files and an accurate drawing register
• Reporting to the Engineering Manager
• Working in a team of 13 Engineers (total workforce of 140 on-site)
